2012 Stories in and about the Urban, Denmark. A streetkitchen was the main tool in a mapping process that resulted in 60 interviews on the streets with local citizens and passersby in the post industrial town of Hedehusene – a suburb of Copenhagen. The Street interviews were recorded on video based on spontaneous meetings for example in front of a local supermarket.
The cool looking street kitchen gave a performative element that appropriated the immediate space helped by what we called street whiteboards with keywords from previous conversations placed around the street kitchen. The mapping resulted in a report for the Danish ministry of Cities, Housing and Rural Districts.
