2019 Ohr und Stadt, UdK, Berlin. A week, full time workshop for students of Theatre Pedagogy. Working with the notion of Spaces of Possibilities and Sonic gestures. While we would use some elements from previous workshops such as blindfolding we would add the sonic element and let the students explore space with ear plugs as well.
Using masking tape also gave extraordinary sound recordings. In all the workshop proved the claim that the acoustics of spaces are overlooked in our general perception of space. Recordings done in a game based exploration of the neighbourhood of the school were finally used to produce a piece of sonic art.
